**Domains**, under **Connections**, shows where your store lives.

## Your Prood address [#your-prood-address]

Every store has a prood.app address from the start, like `casa-lume.prood.app`. You choose your store's prood.app address when you sign up. If it's taken, we add a few characters to the end. It keeps working even after you add a domain of your own.

## Add a custom domain [#add-a-custom-domain]

1. Under **Custom domains**, enter your domain, such as `shop.example.com`.
2. Add the DNS record the dashboard shows at your registrar:

| A subdomain, like `shop.example.com` | CNAME | `shop.example.com` | `cname.vercel-dns.com` |
| The root domain, like `example.com` | A | `@` | `76.76.21.21` |

3. If the dashboard lists a verification record too, add that as well.
4. Wait for the domain to verify. It usually takes minutes, and can take up to 48 hours.

HTTPS is set up automatically once the domain is verified.
